Looking to switch from Outscraper? Here are six Outscraper alternatives for scraping Google Maps leads, and which one fits depending on why you’re leaving. Outscraper itself is a solid tool, and people usually go looking for an alternative for one of three reasons: per-record billing gets hard to predict once emails are added, they want a flat monthly price, or they’d rather work from a browser than a cloud dashboard. Some want the opposite: more automation, scheduling or an MCP server for AI agents.
This post compares six alternatives across those needs. We make one of them (MapsScraper), so treat that as declared bias. Every third-party price and feature below comes from the vendor’s own page, checked September 2026, and is linked inline. If you only want the head-to-head numbers between us and Outscraper, see our full Outscraper vs MapsScraper pricing breakdown. If you’re not tied to Outscraper at all and just want the broader picture, our roundup of the best Google Maps scrapers covers the whole category. This post sticks to the tools people switch to from Outscraper.
What Outscraper does and how it charges
Outscraper is a cloud scraping platform with an API. Google Maps is its best-known service, and its pricing page also lists reviews, emails and contacts, search results and many other services. You run jobs from a web dashboard or the API and download CSV, Excel, Parquet or JSON.
Pricing, from Outscraper’s pricing page (checked September 2026):
- Model: pay-as-you-go. “No monthly fees,” and usage tiers reset every 30 days.
- Google Maps places: first 500 businesses free, then $3 per 1,000 records up to 100,000, then $1 per 1,000.
- Emails & contacts: a separate service. The first 500 are free, then $3 per 1,000 domains up to 100,000, then $1 per 1,000.
- API access: included on the paid tiers.
Example: 5,000 places with contact enrichment in one 30-day window costs about $13.50 for places plus $13.50 for contacts, or roughly $27. That’s cheap for one-off jobs. It grows in step with volume, which is the main reason people compare it with flat-rate tools.

The 6 alternatives
1. Apify Google Maps Scraper
Best for: Developers who want Google Maps data inside a larger automated pipeline.
Apify’s Google Maps Scraper actor starts at $1.50 per 1,000 scraped places, and the rate drops on higher plans. The actor page shows 619,025 total users and a 4.70 rating (checked September 2026). Company contacts enrichment, which covers emails, phones and social profiles from the business website, is a paid add-on. Its example table prices that add-on at $0.20 per 100 places on the Free plan. Integration options include a REST API, JavaScript and Python clients, webhooks, Zapier and Make, and an MCP server.
On Apify’s pricing page, the Free plan includes $5 of monthly usage, and Starter is now $19/month plus pay-as-you-go (checked September 2026).
Where it beats Outscraper: scheduling, webhooks and a large library of other scrapers on one account. Where it doesn’t: you’re managing two cost layers, a plan and per-result usage. More in MapsScraper vs Apify.
2. Scrap.io
Best for: Agencies building country- or region-scale lists and teams using AI agents.
Scrap.io pricing (checked September 2026) starts at $49/month for Basic with 10,000 monthly export credits, or $35/month billed yearly. Professional is $99/month ($69 yearly). Every plan includes API access, file enrichment, reverse search and MCP access. Its homepage lists emails and social media links in the extracted data and offers a 7-day free trial for up to 100 leads.
Scrap.io also has a free Chrome extension, Maps Connect, that shows emails and socials on listings while you browse. Where it beats Outscraper: a predictable monthly price with emails included. Where it doesn’t: the entry plan costs more than light Outscraper usage. Full breakdown in MapsScraper vs Scrap.io.
3. lobstr.io
Best for: Scheduled cloud scraping that covers a whole area without duplicates.
lobstr.io’s Google Maps Leads Scraper bills per unique result and merges duplicates across searches. With Smart Filters, you pick a country or region and a category, and it runs one search per zipcode. Email extraction visits the website and costs a credit only when an email is found. Email verification is also available. It ships with a Python SDK, a CLI and an MCP server, and the scraper page advertises “$0.5 per 1000 leads.”
On the lobstr.io pricing page (checked September 2026), the free plan gives 100 credits a month (1 credit = 1 unique result). Free exports are capped at 30 rows per request, and scheduling requires a paid plan. The paid plan prices didn’t show in the page content we could load, so check their pricing simulator before you commit.
Where it beats Outscraper: deduped area coverage and paying for emails only when one is found.
4. G Maps Extractor
Best for: Users who want a large free monthly quota and a choice between cloud, extension and API.
G Maps Extractor’s pricing (checked September 2026) is split into three products:
- Online (cloud): free for 1,000 records/month. Lite is $19/month for 20,000 records, and Basic is $49/month for 80,000. Exports are CSV, Excel or JSON.
- Chrome extension: free for 1,000 records/month without email or social extraction. Professional is $39/month for 100,000 records with emails.
- API: Basic is $15/month for 1,000 requests plus $0.014 per extra request, at up to 20 places per request.
Where it beats Outscraper: a free monthly quota twice the size of Outscraper’s, and flat monthly plans. Where it doesn’t: you pay separately for each product, so cloud, extension and API don’t share one balance.
5. GMPlus
Best for: Occasional users who want a free web tool.
GMPlus runs a browser-based Google Maps extractor with 500 free credits every day. A standard record uses 1 credit, and a record with email uses 5. It exports CSV, XLSX and JSON and offers an MCP server for AI workflows. We couldn’t find paid plan pricing on the pages we checked, so treat it as a free-tier option until you’ve confirmed costs.
Where it beats Outscraper: free volume that renews daily instead of every 30 days. Where it doesn’t: no published API pricing, and emails use credits five times faster.
6. MapsScraper
Best for: Freelancers and small teams who want steady Google Maps lead lists at a flat price, without a cloud account.
MapsScraper is a Chrome extension (it also runs in Edge, Brave, Opera and Vivaldi). You type a keyword and location, and it opens the Google Maps search, scrolls, opens each business and extracts name, address, phone, website, category, rating, reviews, opening hours, coordinates and place ID. Premium also visits each business website for an email and social links and builds a WhatsApp link from the phone number. Premium costs $9.90/month or $79/year for unlimited leads on up to 3 devices, with a 14-day money-back guarantee (MapsScraper’s plans list what each tier includes). CSV export is on every plan, and Excel comes with Premium.
Where it beats Outscraper: the price doesn’t change with volume, and emails aren’t billed separately. Where it doesn’t: there’s no API, no cloud scheduling, and no scraping while your computer is off. It runs in your browser on your own IP, and it isn’t on the Chrome Web Store (you install it from a ZIP). If those are dealbreakers, Apify, lobstr.io or Scrap.io are better fits. Which Outscraper alternative fits your situation?
| If you need… | Consider |
|---|---|
| REST API, webhooks, scraping many sites on one bill | Apify |
| Country-scale lists, MCP for AI agents, predictable monthly fee | Scrap.io |
| Scheduled runs, zipcode-level coverage, dedupe | lobstr.io |
| The biggest recurring free quota | G Maps Extractor (1,000/mo) or GMPlus (500/day) |
| Flat price, emails included, work in your own browser | MapsScraper |
| Occasional one-off jobs with no subscription | Stay on Outscraper |
A simple test: estimate your monthly volume with emails, price it on Outscraper’s per-record rates, and compare that with the flat plans. Under a few thousand records a month, pay-as-you-go is often cheapest. For steady monthly prospecting, a flat plan usually wins. If a browser workflow suits you, that’s the case our Google Maps scraper Chrome extension was built for.
FAQ
What is the cheapest Outscraper alternative?
It depends on volume. For small, occasional jobs, free tiers (G Maps Extractor’s 1,000 records a month, GMPlus’s 500 daily credits, Apify’s $5 monthly credit) can cost nothing. For steady monthly volume with emails, flat plans like MapsScraper’s $9.90/month are usually cheaper than paying per record.
Which Outscraper alternatives have an API?
Apify, Scrap.io, lobstr.io and G Maps Extractor all offer API or SDK access, as of September 2026. GMPlus offers an MCP server. MapsScraper has no API.
Do these tools include emails in the base price?
Scrap.io and MapsScraper Premium include emails in the plan. Outscraper and Apify bill contact enrichment separately. lobstr.io and GMPlus use extra credits for emails.
Is scraping Google Maps allowed?
Google Maps’ terms restrict automated extraction, and email and privacy laws apply to how you use the data. The rules are the same whichever tool you choose.
